Quainton And The Railway Museum

It was almost a year since my last visit to Quainton and also about the same time span since my last post on here.

The reason for the delay in posting was because WordPress had started to make lots of changes and was switching to Jetstream. I had also just got my own domain so I was starting again from scratch after about 8 years of blogging on the old WordPress setup and in the process I lost all of that blog.

So, back to now. On my previous visit I was unable to find a good spot to photograph the windmill. It is located on private property it is only open on certain days of the week and certain times of the year. On this occasion I planned to visit the railway museum and also take my drone to get some better pictures. On my previous visit I had only been prowling around the boundary taking photos but I recently became aware that it was open to the public and free entry. I have now set myself the task of revisiting with a plan.
