Quainton, The Village

The village is about a mile away from the museum, a quaint, typical old world English Village with a Church and village green..

The roads were not made for modern traffic flows, very narrow, and parked cars make it one way traffic in places however it’s very charming just as it is.

On my previous visit the only way I could get a decent picture of the windmill was follow a footpath up the hill outside the village and get around to the rear of the property that contains the windmill. This time I took my drone and was able to get a few shots from various angles.. You can see from the street view that it was difficult to get a decent view. of the windmill.
