It’s about a month since my last post which is a much longer gap than I had intended. However there have been a few distractions over the last month. I have actually sold and then bought back the same lens along with some additions and removals due to another change in policy. From just recently switching to just prime lenses I have now, more recently had second thoughts and I now have have three zoom lenses, 10-24mm, 16-80mm and 70-300 to give me good range for pretty much any situation, given they are crop sensor lenses so that’s equivalent of 15-36, 24-120 and 105-450 full frame lenses, all Fujifilm. From my prime lenses I have retained the 24mm f1.4 and 33mm f1.4. The lens I sold at the beginning of the month and bought back was the 16-80mm. These lenses along with my drone should cover pretty much any eventuality. As you can see above it all fits very neatly in my Think Tank Backlight 26L backpack.
Along with all this my wife had a hip replacement at the beginning of December so I have been occupied with shopping trips and domestic chores and trips to the hospital. Also I have been fitting in two dog walks a day. However as the weather as been so bad through December I don’t think any photographic trips would really have been possible.
